How can I connect my computer to my Vizio HDTV through an S-Cable to use the TV as another computer screen?

i’ve a 37 inch Vizio HDTV and an S-cable. Ive connected the pc to the television via S-cable but there aren’t any S-video inputs at the TV menu. I even have component 1 component 2, HDMI 1 and a pair of, AV 1 and a pair of but nothing for S-video. Can someone please help?

How come I cant get my hdtv to show hd quality?

i purchased a hitachi plasma 42 inch hdtv and just bought a hd box from suddenlink, but even after connecting everything how it must be the channels that are supposed to broadcast in hd still look pretty bad. Do i want some form of antenna or something? Any help will be much appreciated.

What is the diference between and hdtv and an hdtv compatible tv?
